Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist Supervisor to join our team at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiology team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiologic technologists, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams
  • Monitor productivity levels, accuracy of exam protocols, and ensure appropriate care and monitoring
  • Coordinate patient or work task flow, prioritizing procedures and shifting workloads as needed
  • Validate quality of exams and the final product performed by staff
  • Participate in training and in-service education, and conduct staff meetings as needed
  • Authorize medication or contrast material administration, ensuring proper clinical credentials and certification
  • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, PTO, and payroll functions
  • Perform performance appraisals, coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, equipment quality assurance, and proper functioning of diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Work with physician staff to maintain up-to-date SOPs and procedural guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designated field
  • Registry/Certification required by ARDMS or ARRT, depending on assigned area
