Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our geriatric care team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing medical direction and supervision to our team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction and supervision to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality care for our elderly patients.
  • Develop and maintain medical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the quality of care provided.
  • Supervise and mentor our team of healthcare professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure our organization is providing the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Board certification in Geriatrics is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Active NC license is required.
  • CDS Certification is required.
  • DEA is required.
  • BLS is required.
