Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor stripping and extraction projects to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate floor care machines and equipment to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Push and pull carts and equipment on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
  • Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manner.
  • Report to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or Administrator.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience operating floor care machines is a requirement for this role.
  • Great customer service skills and ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and families.
  • Nursing Home cleaning experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • A drug screen will be required.
  • Great attendance is required.
