Aventura at Terrace View is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to join our team. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dusting and damp mopping floors, and collecting and distributing laundry. They will also assist with other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all equipment is clean and in working order at all times
  2. Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  3. Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks and commodes, on a daily basis
  4. Sort, wash, dry, fold, stack, and distribute linens and personal laundry
  5. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in resident rooms, lobbies, sitting areas, office, dining areas, and furniture
  6. Collect trash from units and dispose of it properly
Qualifications:
  • Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings, and labels
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Adequate physical strength and endurance to meet the demands of washing and drying clothes
  • Good color vision to distinguish stains and separate colored garments from white
