Aerotek's Diesel Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and construction equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
