The CAT Scan Technologist 2 plays a vital role in the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and technical proficiency in CT imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess CT Scan requests for compliance with established protocols and any pertinent physician directives.
- Confirm patient identity and deliver comprehensive exam instructions.
- Assist in the accurate positioning of patients for CT imaging while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Maintain an organized and sanitary workspace, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Review CT images for technical excellence and communicate findings to relevant staff.
- Support the training and development of students and new staff members.
- Engage in research projects and contribute to the formulation of imaging protocols.
- Perform essential nursing duties and provide assistance during medical emergencies as required.
- Oversee the daily tracking of procedure and supply charges.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field.
- ARRT certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in the field.
