**Job Summary**

Correct Craft is seeking a skilled Welder I to join our team at SeaArk Boats, a leading manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats. As a Welder I, you will be responsible for welding aluminum boats to meet departmental production schedules.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Weld aluminum boats in spec with departmental production schedule
  • Demonstrate competency in keel welding
  • Demonstrate competency in welding transoms
  • Demonstrate limited competency in jig welding
  • Keep a clean and safe work area
  • Properly use, store and clean required safety equipment

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma, GED, or welding certification
  • 1 year or less experience in welding or demonstrated ability to perform essential duties

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Frequent reaching with arms and hands
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
  • Walk, climb and balance frequently
  • Frequent lifting and moving of 50 pounds or more

**Work Environment:**

  • Exposure to weather conditions
  • Normal office environment or a factory environment that is not climate controlled
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
