Position Overview:
The Senior Business Consultant at Point32Health plays a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance through effective business consulting and transformation methodologies. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including departmental teams and information systems, to drive improvements and achieve strategic objectives.
Departmental Role:
As a member of the Business Consulting & Transformation Services Department, the Senior Business Consultant is responsible for delivering a range of services, including strategic planning, process evaluations, future state design, and the formulation of transformation roadmaps applicable across all departments.
Supervision and Leadership:
This role operates with intermittent supervision, where project objectives, priorities, and deadlines are defined by management. The Senior Business Consultant is expected to lead medium to large consulting engagements, potentially involving multiple business units, and to mentor less experienced team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in process improvement initiatives, business assessments, and strategic projects.
- Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to gather and analyze data effectively.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including process maps, functional analyses, and workflow diagrams.
- Conduct market research and performance metrics analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Proactively manage project risks and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Create business cases for recommendations, including ROI assessments and implementation roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business process reengineering within a functional area.
- Skills: Proficient in business consulting tools and methodologies, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills.
Working Environment:
This position is situated in a dynamic office environment, with potential travel requirements and flexible hours based on organizational needs. All employees are expected to handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to compliance policies.
