Position Summary:

  • Conducts intricate tasks in the upkeep and repair of electrical systems and circuits.
  • Installs, substitutes, and maintains electrical frameworks and components.
  • Evaluates, tests, and diagnoses electrical apparatus.
  • Designs electrical wiring layouts while ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Assists in the upkeep and renovation of electrical services.

Work Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 10 hours a day, totaling 40 hours a week

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.

Preferred Education:

  • Vocational or specialized training in an electrical trade is advantageous.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment is essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with commercial electrical systems is highly regarded.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Possession of an Electrical License is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • The selected candidate must successfully pass a federal security background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and building operations.
  • Proficient in using tools, troubleshooting, and effective communication.
  • Capability to perform electrical repairs, interpret schematics, and function effectively in a military context.

Physical and Working Conditions:

Work involves outdoor environments, various physical tasks, and may necessitate extended hours based on workload demands.

Military Employment Preference: Applicants with military experience are encouraged to provide relevant documentation during the application process.
