Role Summary:
As a Kiosk Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the optimal performance, security, and compliance of our kiosk solutions. You will work closely with development teams, designers, and product managers to establish thorough testing strategies and deliver high-quality kiosk applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Execution:
    • Create, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for kiosk hardware and software applications.
    • Conduct functional, regression, security, and performance testing to ensure reliable payment processing.
  • Hardware and Software Integration Testing:
    • Validate the integration of payment kiosk software with various hardware components, such as card readers, printers, and touchscreens.
    • Ensure compatibility and seamless functionality with diverse payment methods and processing systems.
  • Security and Compliance Testing:
    • Execute security testing procedures to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in payment kiosk applications.
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations regarding payment processing.
  • Usability Testing:
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to perform usability testing, ensuring an optimal user experience for payment kiosk interfaces.
    • Provide constructive feedback on user interface design enhancements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document test cases, results, and any issues encountered during testing.
    • Effectively communicate with development teams to provide detailed reports on bugs and suggested improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; senior students seeking a paid contract-intern role are also encouraged to apply.
  • 0-1 year of experience in Hardware QA testing for payment systems, preferably in a kiosk setting.
  • On-site role.
  • Familiarity with payment processing protocols, standards, and compliance requirements is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with hardware testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with payment technologies such as EMV, NFC, and QR codes.

Compensation:
