Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist

The Linde pulmonary health and rehabilitation program is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for implementing respiratory regimens and providing pulmonary participant support.

• Contribute expertise as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to offer comprehensive treatment strategies for individual participants and the pulmonary health and rehabilitation program.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to share individual patient findings or concerns and program improvement issues with the rehab team.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans with other staff members.
• Apply knowledge of exercise science to a population with pulmonary disease and other potential co-morbidities.
• Supervise exercise sessions, monitoring participants for inappropriate responses to exercise.
• Assess participants pre, during, and post exercise, making appropriate referrals and/or recommendations to the participant, other staff, and Medical Director.

• Desire to work within a comprehensive healthcare team.
• Commitment to a healthy lifestyle as a model to participants and staff.
• Twenty-four (24) months recent and relevant experience.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Current registration or certification in state of practice.
• Specialization or certification in cardiopulmonary clinical area.
