Job Summary

The Pricing Specialist is responsible for ensuring pricing integrity in our stores by maintaining and updating pricing and shelf tag information. This role promotes customer service by assisting customers with locating products and performing price verifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify price tags using a handheld scanner to ensure proper item pricing at the store level.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price corrections by entering and updating pricing information in our computer system.
• Investigate and/or add items not on file and run computer reports on scanning action to prevent shrink.
• Tear, sort, and hang price tags, ensuring displays and shelves have accurate pricing and signage.
• Verify and apply price changes from ads, ad corrections, and discontinued clearance items.
• Maintain scanning and computer equipment and contact our Help Desk for assistance when necessary.
• Ensure computerized pricing maintenance is kept current and relevant information is preserved.
• Provide friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to complaints.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to our safety procedures.

• Basic knowledge of FIM (Fresh Item Management) and SAP reporting applications.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.
