Position Overview
This is an entry-level role designed to support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with subcontractors
  • Maintain and oversee project plans
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of project schedules
  • Manage material procurement and delivery logistics
  • Handle correspondence
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy
  • Identify project risks and propose solutions
  • Evaluate shop drawings and submittals
  • Engage with vendors and subcontractors for proposals
  • Assess subcontractor change order requests
  • Process change orders and additional work orders
  • Monitor the status of change orders
  • Collect and verify as-built documentation
  • Conduct field observations and maintain documentation
  • Organize and document meetings
  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements
  • Compile and submit project close-out documents
  • Assist in the preparation and approval of progress payment requests
  • Track and manage Requests for Information
  • Monitor shop drawings and submittals
  • Actively participate in project safety initiatives
  • Provide administrative support
  • Assist with job site setup
  • Review subcontractor insurance certifications for compliance
  • Verify certified payrolls and manage payroll canvassing reports
  • Coordinate vendor activities, payments, and credits
  • Generate pay requests
  • Track subcontractor payment requests and schedules
  • Match lien waivers with payment schedules
  • Draft contracts
  • Link all project documentation through project management software
  • Maintain office files
  • Oversee administrative processes and workflows
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a B.S. in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent trade experience. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing, is essential. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
