We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduler/Secretary to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. as a Medical Scheduling Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduling functions in a streamlined environment, utilizing computerized systems to efficiently manage patient appointments and procedures.
- Apply special instructions and procedural information to identify the type of procedure requested and correctly schedule rooms and equipment.
- Enter accurate data into the computer system, verify data input, and correct errors as necessary.
- Print reports as required to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Medical terminology knowledge
- One year of previous medical-related clerical or related experience, or an associate's degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Typing requirements vary by department
- Fundamental knowledge and skill in utilizing computer applications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) varies by department
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
