Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Rebar Ironworker Journeyman to work on our Port Arthur LNG project. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding blueprints, selecting and placing reinforcing steel, and ensuring that all materials are in their proper position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand blueprints and elevations to determine reinforcing steel requirements
  • Select and place reinforcing steel in concrete forms, ensuring proper spacing and fastening
  • Cut and bend reinforcing steel to exact specifications using various tools and equipment
  • Assist in rigging operations, connections, and disconnections
  • Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Perform a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools and power tools
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least 48 months of industrial construction experience and a strong understanding of reinforcing steel fabrication and installation. They must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain, climb vertical ladders, and work at heights while hanging from rebar structures.
