Compensation: $17.00-$21.00/hour
Company Overview: MyHealth Urgent Care is seeking a PRN (Contingent) Medical Assistant for our Washington facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and register patients upon arrival.
- Manage incoming phone calls and inquiries.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments.
- Assist in preparing patients for examinations by taking vital signs and conducting preliminary tests.
- Perform procedures such as EKGs, blood draws, injections, and specimen preparation.
- Support healthcare providers during patient assessments and treatments.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervising provider.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with vital signs monitoring.
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques.
- Knowledge of injection administration.
- Familiarity with EKG procedures.
- Experience in X-ray operations.
- Ability to perform splinting when necessary.
Application Instructions: Interested candidates should submit their resume along with salary expectations.
Salary: $21.00 per hour

Work Schedule:
- Availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per month, with most shifts being 12 hours from 8 AM to 8 PM, and some 6-hour shifts available.

- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in taking vital signs (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
