Company Overview: MyHealth Urgent Care is seeking a PRN (Contingent) Medical Assistant for our Washington facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register patients upon arrival.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and inquiries.
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments.
  • Assist in preparing patients for examinations by taking vital signs and conducting preliminary tests.
  • Perform procedures such as EKGs, blood draws, injections, and specimen preparation.
  • Support healthcare providers during patient assessments and treatments.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervising provider.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with vital signs monitoring.
  • Proficient in venipuncture techniques.
  • Knowledge of injection administration.
  • Familiarity with EKG procedures.
  • Experience in X-ray operations.
  • Ability to perform splinting when necessary.

Salary: $21.00 per hour

  • 2 years of experience in taking vital signs (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
