Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Specialist to join our team at PRC-Saltillo. As a Funding Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our organization by securing funding for our communication devices and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter new funding applications into our database and review them for accuracy.
  • Process funding applications through Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance companies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff to ensure all parties are up to date on client applications.
  • Maintain professional interactions with all departments and staff through various forms of communication.
  • Verify coverage and benefits with insurance companies via web portal, phone call, or third-party software.
  • Stay up to date on company policies, procedures, and requirements to answer internal and external customer inquiries.
  • Determine and collect co-insurance due prior to confirming and shipping client applications.
  • Attend and actively participate in Regional Team Meetings.
  • Work with our Legal Department on denials from insurance applications.

Requirements:

  • Strong teamwork, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Extensive verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, calm, diffuse, and persuade customers.
  • Expert listening skills, with the ability to maintain customer confidentiality and negotiate effectively.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, even in high-stress situations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required; associate's degree and two years of experience in a medical field or office environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
