Academic Ophthalmologist

The University of Utah is seeking a highly qualified ophthalmologist to join our faculty as a retina and uveitis specialist. This is a full-time tenure-track position in an academic setting, offering a unique blend of clinical care and basic research opportunities.

• Provide clinical care to patients with retina and uveitis conditions
• Conduct basic research in uveitis, with 50% of time dedicated to research
• Teach and train residents and fellows in the clinic and operating room

• Completed accredited ophthalmology residency
• Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology
• Fellowship trained in retina and uveitis
• PhD with basic research experience
