About the Role

SeaQuest is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Guest Experience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Safari Team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by creating a warm, inviting, and world-class environment throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Sales and Service: Assist guests with sales and register transactions, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Product and Service Presentation: Present our full range of products and services to guests, highlighting the value and benefits of each offering.
  • Creating Unforgettable Experiences: Focus on creating fun and memorable experiences for every guest, ensuring they leave with a positive impression of our facility.
  • Engagement and Promotion: Engage with guests, offer special promotions, and encourage them to take advantage of our annual membership program.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services, driving revenue growth and enhancing the guest experience.
  • Field Trips and Guest Activities: Conduct field trips with guest audiences, supporting our educational and entertainment programs.
  • Gift Shop Support: Assist with gift shop activities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.
  • Animal Care and Support: Required to work with animals, providing care and support as needed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring our facility remains clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Sales and Service Experience: Proven experience in selling and up-selling products and services, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Team Player: A cheerful, positive attitude with a willingness to be a team player, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Register and Cash Handling Experience: Experience with register and cash handling, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Animal Experience (Preferred): Experience working with animals, with a strong focus on animal care and welfare.
Education and Training
  • Sales Training (Preferred): Sales training experience, with a focus on developing sales skills and knowledge.
Work Schedule
  • Flexible Schedule: A flexible schedule, with a focus on meeting the needs of our guests and colleagues.
  • Part-Time: Part-time position, with a focus on providing excellent service and support to our guests.
