Job Title: Research Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Project Manager to join our team at the Center for Healthy Aging in the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State University.

Job Summary:

The Research Project Manager will oversee and advise on multiple externally funded research projects related to mobile health phenotyping and environmental influences. This position will interact directly with staff, faculty, and internal/external collaborators.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project planning, including preparation of regulatory materials and managing the internal review board process.
  • Manage data collection and organize the knowledge base and documentation of all data variables.
  • Work collaboratively with the Center Operations Manager to forecast budgets and maintain documentation to track expenses.
  • Coordinate manuscript submission procedures and work with PIs on hiring and onboarding new study team members.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Penn State REDCap application, IRB protocols, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
