Job Title: Patient Service Representative

The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation is seeking a Patient Service Representative to train patients on the use and care of the LifeVest wearable cardioverter defibrillator.

This is a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to supplement their income while making a difference in the lives of cardiac patients. As a Patient Service Representative, you will work independently as a contractor, training patients and caregivers on the use and care of the LifeVest device.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train patients and caregivers on the use and care of the LifeVest device
  • Program the device according to the prescribing physician's orders
  • Measure the patient and determine the correct garment size
  • Review and have the patient sign all necessary paperwork
  • Transmit signed copies of the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist to ZOLL within 24 hours
  • Manage device and garment inventory

Requirements:

  • 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment
  • Completion of a background check
  • Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID
  • Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee and additional vendor credentialing fees (if required)
