Medical Care Specialist

The Medical Care Specialist is a critical role at Advocate Aurora Health, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a skilled Registered Nurse (RN), you will be part of a team that delivers exceptional healthcare services to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.
About the Role:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing blood draws, and managing PICC lines.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical research and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois RN license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- At least 2 years of experience in oncology or hematology nursing, preferably in a transplant setting.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.
