Position Summary
As an Armed Driver Guard, you will collaborate with your team to guarantee the secure and efficient pickup and delivery of cash, coins, and other valuables.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automatic armored vehicles and other transport vehicles along designated routes to service client locations.
- Perform ATM and Smart Safe servicing.
- Manage customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
- Load and unload vehicle cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins.
- Accurately count items, record, and sign for cargo.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved examiner.
- A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.
Working Conditions
- Full-time schedule averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, typically requiring a minimum of 5 days within a 6-day work period. Weekend work may be required occasionally.
- Approximately 90-95% of work is conducted in an air-conditioned vehicle, ensuring comfort during operations.
Physical Requirements
As part of the qualification process for the Armed Driver Guard position, candidates must successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), which includes:
- Lift: 25 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches (1X).
- Lift-Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X); 50 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X).
- Push-Pull: Transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, nondominant arm) for 1 ft (2X).
- Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs (4X).
- Climb: Ascend/Descend a step with heights of 24 inches (10X).

Compensation
Starting pay is $19.50 per hour.
