Job Title: Pipe Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at Tradesmen International, Inc. in Rockford, IL. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and working with various types of piping systems, including PVC, copper, and groove pipe.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and work with PVC piping, copper pipe, and groove pipe
  • Fabricate and install industrial carbon steel and stainless pipe
  • Grind and bevel pipe as needed
  • Lay out, cut, assemble, and install pipe
  • Work on storm drains and underground utilities
  • Test pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality
  • Repair malfunctions and install, modify, and repair fluid systems
  • Rebuild various types of pumps
  • Occasionally operate forklifts
Requirements:
  • Previous pipe fitting experience
  • Tools for the trade
  • Licenses are a plus
