Day Care Professional at Sugarbush Resort

We are a year-round destination offering skiing, riding, mountain biking, golf, disc golf, dining venues, and a Health and Recreation Center. We seek an experienced Day Care Professional to join our team.
Job Summary
This full-time, year-round position involves planning activities for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in compliance with childcare regulations. The ideal candidate has relevant qualifications and experience in early childhood education, is committed to ongoing professional development, and creates a nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
- Carry out planned activities while ensuring equipment and facilities are safe and well-maintained.
- Supervise children at all times and ensure compliance with Non-Recurring Childcare guidelines.
- Provide opportunities for sleep and rest, create a safe environment, and implement positive discipline when needed.
Qualifications
- CDA or associate's degree in early childhood with two years' experience or BA/BS with four higher education courses in early childhood topics and two years' experience.
- Three positive childcare references, annual CPR Certification, biannual First Aid Certification, and training annually on skills and competencies related to the ages of the children.
