Responsibilities

The Senior Controls Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing control systems for chemical plants.
  • Implementing and supporting plant control system hardware, software and field instrumentation in an efficient and safe manner.

This is a critical role that requires deep and broad competency in process automation of chemical plants using DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc. systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including programming PLC/DCS for chemical plant design and operation as well as process data collection and distribution for wider corporate use.
