Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Padre Hotel. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including toilets, floors, showers, and baseboards, to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
  • Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment, including power scrubbers, vacuums, and radios.
  • Ensure that special requests for cleanliness and maintenance are met, and report any issues to the proper department or supervisor.
  • Dust all areas, floor to ceiling, on a regular basis to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the proper department or supervisor, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Ensure that stayover service is completed for all multi-night stays, including changing of sheets, replacing used linen, and providing clean towels and toiletries.
  • Ensure that all tiled floors are cleaned daily and carpet spaces are properly vacuumed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handle customer concerns and requests with a positive attitude, and ensure that the customer experience meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Notify the supervisor if any items are in low inventory, and ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct are upheld.
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning crew or housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods and seasons.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Technical knowledge of maintenance equipment and cleaning supplies.
