At Cross Country Nurses, we're seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Yakima, Washington.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to work in our operating room. As an OR Tech, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your duties will include preparing the OR, assisting with surgical tools and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and transporting patients to and from surgery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep the OR and surgical tools and equipment
  • Assist nurses and surgeons with scrubbing in and out
  • Maintain sterile conditions throughout the procedure
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
  • Assist with cleaning the OR after surgery
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
