Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Bryan's Spanish Cove resort. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are well-maintained and in good repair.
Your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise. You will work closely with guests, staff members, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and drive company success.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain the physical structure of the establishment, including repairs to boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment.
- Complete maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders, and visually inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify any issues or defects.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment, install new components, and provide electrical services such as repairing transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
- Set up and operate machine tools like grinders and drills to repair and fabricate machine parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to fellow team members, members, owners, and guests by responding to calls and questions, and conducting proper building rounds to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Pursue special projects and maintain, clean, and chemically balance pools, spas, and water features as directed.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities maintenance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with guests in English.
- Ability to climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification, Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification, and a state-specific non-commercial driver's license.
