  • Underwriters in evaluating the risks associated with AXA XL's insurance offerings;
  • Clients in recognizing, assessing, anticipating, and mitigating their risk exposures.

This role involves providing consulting services focused on property and natural hazard risks across various sectors. The position necessitates a strong technical foundation and practical experience to identify and reduce property and natural catastrophe risk exposures for a diverse array of projects and clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site evaluations to analyze property and natural hazard exposures, producing comprehensive reports that detail findings and offer improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with AXA XL Risk Consulting's network of specialized engineers to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Establish trust and foster customer satisfaction by showcasing the value of risk management services.
  • This role will cover U.S. territories, providing support to both insured and non-insured clients, with anticipated travel of 20-25%.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA Codes, FM Data Sheets, and relevant local regulations.
  • Strong understanding of fire protection principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
  • Moderate experience as a property field engineer.
  • Experience in analyzing windstorm risk factors.
  • Ability to leverage industry expertise across a wide range of clients and projects, effectively consulting on diverse property risk controls and identifying exposures on complex risks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive, continuously seeking personal and professional growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
