Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Auditor to become a vital part of our Finance team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to engage with high net worth clients and apply your expertise in areas such as SOC 1, Accounting, GAAP, Financial Analysis, and audit testing. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Auditor, your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting thorough audits for high net worth clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
2. Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, guaranteeing their accuracy and completeness.
3. Executing audit tests on financial data and processes, identifying potential discrepancies.
4. Reconciling balance sheets and financial documents, investigating irregularities and implementing necessary adjustments.
5. Collaborating with team members to enhance financial processes and systems for improved efficiency.
6. Mentoring junior auditors, sharing your knowledge to foster their professional development.
7. Communicating audit findings to management and recommending improvements.
8. Staying updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Senior Auditor position, candidates should possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of auditing experience, ideally within the finance sector or with high net worth clients.
3. Strong understanding of GAAP, SOC 1, and relevant financial regulations.
4. Proven skills in financial analysis, financial statement preparation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
5. Familiarity with HNI and audit testing methodologies.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
8. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
