Job Title: Resident Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Caregiver to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Palos Heights. As a Resident Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Manage resident behavior and provide emotional support
  • Encourage socialization and participation in activities
  • Provide information and orientation to residents and families
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
  • Certification required according to state regulations, and successful completion of Springhouse's/Arden Courts' training
