We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Operating Room Professional to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas. As a Surgical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a schedule of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. You will be working in the General Operating Room department at our hospital in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing operating suites, handling instruments, and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating suites with sterile drapes, solutions, and instruments.
- Assist surgeons with required equipment and supplies during surgeries.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout procedures.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
