Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Albany Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing various treatments and procedures. You will also be required to document treatment as per company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
