We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for nuclear power plants.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for nuclear power plants, including modification packages, system and component performance specifications, and functional mechanical drawings.
- Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems.
- Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment and vendor bid evaluations.
- Participate in studies and options evaluations for modifications to operating nuclear power plants.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the power industry.
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants.
