Uphams Corner Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team.
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled Pediatrician to provide high-quality medical care to patients up to the age of 21. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for community health and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary care medical services to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Participate in rotating physician on-call schedule, including Saturday morning urgent care rotation.
- Collaborate with other clinical and operations staff to support optimal clinical workflows and procedures for pediatrics throughout the health center.
- Participate in peer review process for medical staff and contribute to quality improvement and care management activities.
- Attend conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency and current certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Current Massachusetts medical license and state/federal controlled substance registration.
- Experience in culturally diverse settings and enthusiasm for community health.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred.
