Echocardiography Specialist

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echocardiography, with experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound evaluations of the heart using M-Mode and 2D imaging, as well as pulse wave, continuous wave, and color flow Doppler.

Under the direction of the Lead Echo Tech, the Echocardiographer will operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, identify the anatomy of the heart using ultrasound techniques, and participate in reviewing interpretation of daily scans with Cardiologists.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to maintain accurate records, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include scanning patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning, preparing for cardiac stress tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and bubble studies, and training others in the use of the CPACS System.

Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
• At least one year of clinical experience in echocardiography
• BLS Health Care Provider certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the CPACS System
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
