Position: Maintenance Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support multiple locations. The role involves working primarily in various facilities, ensuring high standards of maintenance and operational efficiency. The Technician will collaborate closely with facility management to uphold a professional environment and respond to the daily operational needs of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a diverse range of maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, installations, and inspections. Responsibilities include hanging artwork, moving furniture, replacing lighting fixtures, and conducting routine checks.
  • Engage effectively with the maintenance team and facility clients to assess service requirements and coordinate subcontractor activities on-site.
  • Oversee modifications to the facility layout, including wall and door adjustments, lighting changes, and cosmetic improvements following office relocations.
  • Address plumbing issues, including toilet repairs, valve maintenance, and sensor adjustments for automatic fixtures, along with other minor plumbing tasks.
  • Maintain a proactive preventive maintenance schedule for HVAC systems, including temperature adjustments, filter changes, and cleaning of components.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople with various projects and support logistical operations, including mail and package handling.
  • Monitor the building automation system to ensure optimal performance of equipment and maintain suitable temperature conditions.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
