We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Driller to join our team at Helicon Foundation Repair Systems. As a key member of our foundation repair team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, leading crew members, and ensuring the successful completion of foundation repair projects.
Key Responsibilities- Drilling Operations: Operate drilling equipment for various foundation repair techniques, including drilled shafts, augercast, helicals, tiebacks, micropiles, and drilled-in casing.
- Team Leadership: Lead and train crew members in drilling operations and safety procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain drilling equipment daily to ensure proper and safe functioning.
- Project Coordination: Communicate effectively with engineers and general contractors on project requirements and progress.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality control and site safety.
- Research and Development: Research and determine methods and procedures on new or unique assignments in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Experience: 2+ years experience in direct drilling and installation techniques, including drilled shafts, augercast, helicals, tiebacks, micropiles, and drilled-in casing.
- Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficiency in daily equipment maintenance, excellent communication skills, ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints, and a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent project management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
