Responsibilities
- Oversee the RAI Process, ensuring precision and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate patient/resident needs and coordinate care strategies.
- Facilitate Care Plan conferences with patients, residents, and their families.
- Provide education regarding the RAI Process and ensure accurate coding of MDS evaluations.
- Monitor Quality Measures and ensure MDS accuracy to meet quality standards.
- Maintain precise documentation and ensure timely submission to state databases and other entities.
- Ensure adherence to Medicare and Medicaid regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Preferred two years of MDS experience, though not mandatory.
- Current registered nursing (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Familiarity with MDS 3.0 is essential.
