Logistics Specialist

The Shipping and Receiving position at Aerotek offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products.

This role is responsible for preparing and packaging final products for shipment, processing shipments electronically within the ERP system, printing packing slips and bills of lading, and scheduling LTL shipments when needed.

• Verify and sign off on packed items using order number, part numbers, descriptions, and quantities
• Safely package smaller boxed items, maximizing protection while reducing packaging material waste
• Safely pack, secure, and protect boxed or unboxed items on pallets or in crates for outgoing shipments
• Modify or construct custom pallets or crates as needed from raw wood materials
• Process shipments in the ERP system and print packing slips or bill of ladings for carriers
• Ensure packages are picked up correctly by the carrier
