Job Title: Senior Advanced Software Engineer

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing specialized software solutions that are launched into space and considered national assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the software development life cycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas, and provide technical leadership and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, PetaLinux) and programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python).

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in software engineering and architecture.
  • Proven track record of leading software development teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.

Target Salary Range:

USD $142,601.00/Yr. - USD $158,198.00/Yr.
