Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Gwinnett County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to our students.

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

1. Plan and deliver mathematics lessons to students in grades 9-12.
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students.
3. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
4. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
5. Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in mathematics.
• Experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 9-12.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

The Mathematics Teacher will work in a fast-paced educational environment. The teacher will be required to stand for long periods, move around the classroom, and use a computer to grade assignments and communicate with parents.
