Position Overview
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed.
- Welcome patients and prepare them for examinations.
- Collect height, weight, blood pressure, and medical history data.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatments and medications to the provider.
- Educate patients and families on medication and treatment protocols.
- Provide information on diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and health maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Licensure Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of South Dakota or meet multi-state licensure requirements.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible shifts; 40 hours over two weeks
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- One Saturday morning shift every 8-12 weeks
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is outlined below. Actual pay will be based on experience.
- $31.50 per hour
