Cafeteria Cashier

Job Summary:

The Cashier - Dietary Department is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service to patients and staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate cash records, process cash transactions, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Customer Service: Greet customers in a polite and positive manner, assist with finding items, and provide excellent service to patients and staff.
• Inventory Management: Restock the cafeteria area with food and supplies, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dietary department to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous cash handling and food service experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and strong communication skills.
