Oncology Medical Account Specialist II

Position Overview: The Oncology Account Specialist for the Charlotte Territory will engage with healthcare professionals involved in Non-Small Cell Lung and Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer treatment within designated accounts. This role requires a commitment to patient-centric care and the ability to establish oneself as a market authority among clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with Oncology Specialists and other key medical professionals within assigned accounts to communicate clinical information effectively.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Regional Directors and Reimbursement Specialists, to address customer needs and develop strategic initiatives that align with brand objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted accounts and specialists to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Conduct market analysis to gain insights into local healthcare delivery and payer systems.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities within assigned accounts, coordinating efforts with the Regeneron Oncology team.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies during customer interactions.
  • Participate in relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Biologics and buy-and-bill products or substantial experience in the Oncology sector is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of the payer landscape, reimbursement processes, and challenges in the healthcare market.
  • Demonstrated success in developing relationships with physician and customer clinical experts.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields are advantageous. A minimum of three years of sales experience in Oncology is preferred.
  • Proven track record of integrity and performance in complex market environments.
  • Willingness to travel within a large territory.
