Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of electrical crews on designated projects. The Electrical Supervisor will provide leadership and direction to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Building strong relationships with clients, customers, and suppliers is essential to fostering a positive work environment.

This position also requires hands-on involvement in various skilled construction tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizes and supervises field teams and electrical operations, including construction methods, workforce levels, daily output, material requirements, and tracking actual hours worked.
  • Coordinates tasks with other trades, departments, or contractors to maintain project timelines and productivity.
  • Guides on-site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
  • Engages in a variety of skilled construction activities.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments (e.g., Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Testing, and Engineering) to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available to support project activities.
  • Collaborates with supervisory and engineering staff, inspectors, and suppliers to address construction challenges and enhance methods.
  • Aids in resolving issues related to productivity and work interfaces.
  • Monitors adherence to safety protocols and ensures corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Demonstrates strong capabilities in equipment setup.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
* - Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical work within commercial or multifamily construction; or a combination of vocational training and experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively supervise and manage a team of 10 or more workers daily.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with labor reports, project cost reports, and workforce management.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
  • Proficient in creating prefabrication drawings, shop tickets, and quality control documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to comprehend complex instructions.
  • Proficient in presenting information effectively to small groups and individuals.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, follow instructions, and demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to additional background checks.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures is required.
  • Must be available to report to various job sites as assigned.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Work Environment:
  • May involve working in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors, including adverse weather conditions.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels may occur.
  • Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
  • May require working in confined spaces or at heights.

Physical Requirements:
  • This position frequently utilizes construction equipment, including heavy machinery and hand tools.
  • Employees may need to climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular use of hands for handling tools and controls is required.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors in color-coded wiring and possess good vision.

Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel may be necessary (typically not overnight).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Previous military experience.
