Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our PACU, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential complications and taking proactive measures to prevent them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a BSN within 4 years of hire date.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: National Certification in area of specialty.
