Job Summary:
MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Utility Worker to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet is fully prepared for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and fluids topped, ready for service at various times of day.
- Interior and Exterior Cleaning: Clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles according to contract specifications.
- Damage Documentation: Document and communicate any fleet damage to appropriate personnel.
- Emergency Equipment Maintenance: Stock and maintain vehicle emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers, roadside emergency triangles, and reflective cones.
- Fuel Island Maintenance: Maintain fuel islands according to OSHA, client, MV, and EPA regulations.
- Paratransit Bus Parking Area Maintenance: Ensure the paratransit bus parking area is clean and free from garbage and debris.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Schedule: Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
- Age and Driving Record: Must be 21 years old with a good driving record.
Benefits:
MV Transportation offers a competitive starting pay rate of $21.53/hour.
