Master Electrician

About the Role

KCI Technologies is seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join its Construction Services team in Maryland. This candidate will oversee internal crews and subcontractors on EV charging and telecom projects, utilizing their expertise to ensure successful task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee internal crews and subcontractors on EV charging and telecom projects
• Utilize expertise to ensure successful task completion
• Manage and mentor Journeymen and Apprentices
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and customer-specific safety standards
• Develop project estimates and complete job layouts
• Read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
• Diagnose and resolve problems
• Install equipment cabinets and cabling for telecom and/or EV charging projects

Requirements

• Current Master Electrician's License in Maryland, Virginia, DC, or ability to obtain reciprocity
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Electrician
• Ability to manage and mentor Journeymen and Apprentices
• Knowledge of OSHA and customer-specific safety standards
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and other industry standards
